Safety Awareness Month 2026

June is National Safety Awareness Month, and our agency is proud to bring important safety resources directly to our community. Throughout June, we will be hosting a series of Safety Awareness Outreach Events at several office locations.

These events offer visitors the opportunity to learn more about personal and community safety, access valuable resources, and receive select free screenings provided by partner organizations.

Event Dates and Locations (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM):

• June 3 – East Tampa
• June 10 – Plant City
• June 17 – Brandon
• June 18 – Southshore
• June 24 – Drew Park
• June 25 – North Tampa

Participating Partner Organizations
Partner organizations will be onsite at select locations offering useful information and services:

• Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office – Safety information
• Hillsborough County Fire Rescue – Safety information
• Tampa Fire Rescue – Safety information
• Hillsborough County Children’s Board – Safety resources
• Lions World Vision Institute – Free vision screenings and glasses for children
• Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida – Free hearing screenings

We encourage customers to visit during the event and take advantage of the free resources and screenings available.
