The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office is once again partnering with the Hillsborough Education Foundation to collect new school supplies for local students and teachers. This marks more than 16 years of collaboration between the two organizations.
How it works: Drop off new school supplies at any Hillsborough County Tax Collector location during regular business hours throughout July. Everything collected goes to the Hillsborough Education Foundation’s Teaching Tools Store, which provides free supplies to teachers countywide – with special emphasis on schools serving underprivileged communities.
The goal: Last year, the community donated over 34,000 items. This year, we’re hoping to beat that number.
